Dear Cheltenham Baseball Club Members,

We are looking forward to a fun, safe and successful year in 2023 Winter following our 2022 Winter season, our third due to COVID-19. I hope that many of our club members will attend this Special General Meeting to hear the financial report for last year and elect the new Committee for 2023.

If you are unable to attend for any reason, please email current Secretary Tony Preston
at tpassoc@optusnet.com.au. If you are unable to attend, you may nominate a proxy to vote on your behalf (see attached proxy form).

The Committee has done a good job in 2022, but all positions on the Executive & General Committee will be officially vacated, so your vote and your participation is needed to help fill these positions (nomination of member for election form attached).

Our club is only as good as you help make it, so at the very least, please come along to see how the financial side works. The following Agenda will be covered on the night:

AGENDA
1. Confirmation of the minutes for the S.G.M. held on 23 March 2022.
2. Matters arising from the S.G.M. held on 23 March 2022.
3. Reports – President
- Treasurer (audited financial report)
4. All positions on the Committee declared vacant and proceed to elect new office bearers:
(Approximately 10 members needed to run successfully, but we will never say no to more)

5. Setting of the 2023 playing subscriptions
6. General Business – No General Business will be discussed unless tabled in writing prior to commencement of the meeting.

Any proposed item to be placed on the agenda must be forwarded in writing to the Secretary
no later than 10 days prior to the S.G.M.

Any proposed amendments to the constitution must be forwarded in writing to the Secretary
no later than 10 days prior to the S.G.M.
